Have you ever felt in your everyday life that your legs are swollen, or that your sole is always tired?
If you’ve felt that way, when was the last time you took care of your sole?
Most people might have not thought of this, but how much percent do you think the mass of your soles are compared to the entire body mass?
The answer is… just a mere 2%.
This means that only 2% of your body is responsible to hold up your entire 40kg, 50kg, 60kg, 70kg,…100kg body everyday.
Knowing that, I make it a rule to try to say “thank you “to my soles every night in the bath tub, and say “let’s have a great day together” right after I wake up.
《Your soles and toes are full of garbage》
Since the feet are the most furthest away from the heart, not enough blood can not reach them with just the pumping of the heart. The entire sole serves as a pump, which sends back the blood brought to the feet by the heart.
You also may know that the nerves of the entire body are located in your soles and toes.
Living everyday lives, working, or playing sports creates fatigue substances and waste products inside the blood. These substances accumulating in your soles and toes causes your entire body to feel tired.
These substances can be thought of as garbage, and the sole can be thought of as a garbage dump. Like cleaning your room everyday, cleaning your body from garbage = taking care of your soles everyday will make your body become more refreshed the next day.
《An easy self care method》
It is very easy to care your soles.
All you have to do is put your fingers in between your toes, and move your hands in a pumping action. Don’t forget to thank your sole while doing it!
If you try this on a child, your fingers will easily go between the toes, but if you do it on an adult, it will be pretty painful for most people. This means that their toes have become hard = their blood circulation is not well.
This tells how the daily habits of children are healthy, and how the habits of adults are disordered.

We won’t go over what kind of habits to improve in this article, but taking care of your soles during your every day life habits will surely improve your entire day.
《Delight your soles with these three items》
An easy 2〜3 minute caring routine every morning and evening will make your body feel different.
For me, I also use some easy to find and easy to use tools to delight my soles even more everyday.
①Stepping on green bamboo
A traditional routine, but don’t underestimate it.
Stepping on green bamboo delights you soles by stimulating it and improving blood circulation.
You can easily do it in 2〜3 minutes, even while watching TV.
② A small stick
The sole is also called the “Reflex zone”, having over 60 important pressure points.
- Left foot→Heart
- Right foot→Liver
By applying pressure to these points with a stick, you can recover your entire body from exhaustion.
This can be done after you take a shower, while watching TV.
③Ball (baseball, tennis ball )
Step on the ball with your body weight, and rub it throughout your entire sole. Also stimulate your toes.
If a base ball is too hard for you, try using a softer tennis ball.
This also, you can do while watching TV.

As I have already said, all methods can easily be done while watching TV, so please try them out and delight your soles.
From my experience, by saying “Thank you ” and “Let’s have a great day together” (or at least feeling that way) while taking care of your soles, your soles will say back to you “Thank you, I”ll do my best”.
